About Braintonia:

Vision is our dominant sense, and mediates the majority of our perception, learning, cognition, and physical activities.  Vision problems are common in individuals who have suffered a brain injury.

Mirror drawing is difficult because of the conflict between vision and proprioception (sense of the body regarding position, motion, and equilibrium).

Humans naturally rely on vision to guide our movements.

Believe it or not, if you did everything by looking in the mirror for several days, your brain would adapt to the mirror world.

This is just one small example of the challenges individuals with brain injury have.
